I help individuals and couples navigate life transitions and identity issues so they feel more grounded and secure in their authentic selves.

This work is personal to me. I once was living a life that was not truly mine; a life that my parents felt fulfilled by, my community deemed successful — one that I felt extremely detached by.

My lived experience and understanding shape how I show up in the therapy space, with compassion, congruence, and genuine respect for your healing journey.

Hi, I’m Sookyoung.

A Bit about Me

I am a first-generation Korean immigrant, eldest daughter, mom, lover of alternative rock, and an avid movie-goer!

Outside of the therapy room, most of my free time is spent with my baby (aka. amazing human), running around in local parks, creating out-of-this-world race tracks, and playing pretend.

I also love rocking out to Avril Lavigne (90’s baby!) and MCR (among many other greats), playing tunes on my guitar, and checking out newly released & most loved classics in the movie theater.
